The British Virgin Islands (BVI) has received strong backing by the United Nations (UN) Special Committee on Decolonization (C-24) regarding the self-governance of the Territory and its right to self-determination at the recently concluded session of the C-24 at UN Headquarters from 14th – 25th June 2021.
The Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Agriculture and Fisheries has handed over the first 2020 Don Hanson Charitable Foundation box filled with books to the Willard Wheatley Primary School.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development is notifying the community that Simmonds Preschool will be closed temporarily for 14 days following the detection of suspected and confirmed COVID-19 positive cases in the pediatric population.
