The Government of the Virgin Islands is installing twenty-four (24) new weather stations as it moves to re-establish a Territory wide multi hazard monitoring network.

The British Virgin Islands Tourist Board (BVITB) is now headquartered on the 3rd floor of Geneva Place on Wickham’s Cay I. 

The Cabinet of the Virgin Islands has sanctioned the appointment of one new member and re-appointment of four members of the Allied Health Professionals Council established under the Medical Act, 2000.

The Government of the Virgin Islands Cabinet has approved the re-appointment of members to serve on the Social Security Board Appeals Tribunal.

On Tuesday, 27^th March, 2018, the Deputy Governor Mr. David D. Archer, Jr and former Deputy Governors Mrs. Dancia Penn-Sallah, OBE, QC and Mrs. Rosalie Adams visited former Deputy Governor Mr. Elton Georges at Peebles Hospital where he is currently resident managing a medical condition.

The Government of the Virgin Islands is continuing to put measures in place to provide a skilled labour force to assist in the Territory’s recovery efforts.
