The Virgin Islands is taking all requisite steps to ensure that it adheres to its international obligations as an Overseas Territory of the United Kingdom.
Works have commenced on the Carrot Bay Revetment Project to restore and reinforce the shoreline against any major changes that may be caused by natural elements.

Acting Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ronald Georges has reported that there are 151 active cases of COVID-19 in the Territory with most cases experiencing mild symptoms.
The Safe Haven Transitional Centre will be launching its ‘Bridge the Gap Showcase’ later this month to encourage the public to de-stigmatise receiving mental health services.

At the Second Sitting of the Fourth Session of the Fourth House of Assembly Acting Premier Dr. the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley made a Motion which reads:
“They have laid the foundation and are the shoulders on which we stand as men and women. They possess skills, knowledge and experience and continue to contribute effectively to society and they deserve our time, attention affection and respect,” Honourable Malone stated.

Today, Minister for the Overseas Territory, the Rt. Hon. Amanda Milling, arrives in the British Virgin Islands for discussions following the early publication of the Commission of Inquiry Report.
The Ministry of Health and Social Development will be hosting a webinar next month to present Obstetrics and Midwifery providers with an update on guidelines for antenatal care.
