The Water and Sewerage Department is informing the residents of the Valley, Virgin Gorda that the water service was temporarily interrupted this week due to technical difficulties.

On Tuesday, July 14, a switch was affected by a power outage which disrupted the flow of water to the reservoirs. Water was returned to the affected area on Wednesday, July 15, at 8:30 p.m.

The Virgin Gorda community is advised that if necessary, a water schedule will be implemented so that water in the reservoir can return to a satisfactory level. If needed, customers will be notified and a schedule will be put in place where water will be provided daily from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The Water and Sewerage Department apologises for any inconvenience caused to residents as a result of the interruption of this service.
