All importers, brokers, and agents of the Virgin Gorda community are notified that Her Majesty’s Customs will hold a Customs Automated Processing Systems (CAPS) trader declaration orientation on the sister island on Thursday, September 15.

The orientation will be held at the Vanterpool Administration Building Conference Room at 10:00 a.m.

The Commissioner of Customs, Mr. Wade Smith and other representatives from Her Majesty’s Customs will be available to address all questions as all trader declarations must be completed and submitted electronically using CAPS effective November 1.

All importers are being asked to register with the Customs Department to obtain a Trader Identification Number or to gain CAPS access as stations will no longer be accepting manual or paper trader declarations.
