The Public Health Unit is notifying persons who attended the Robinson O’Neal Primary School and/or the Bregado Flax Educational Centre graduation ceremonies on June 29 that additional confirmed cases have been detected.   

Fully vaccinated persons will not be required to isolate, however all un-vaccinated and partially vaccinated persons are asked to remain in isolation for 10-14 days. Regardless of vaccination status, all persons are asked to contact the Unit at 468-4936, 468-2274 or 468- 2285 between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. for a risk assessment and testing appointment. 

The community is asked to refrain from going to the Nurse Iris O’Neal Medical Centre for testing unless they have been scheduled by a Public Health Officer. 

Anyone who develop symptoms of COVID-19 which include headache, runny nose, nasal congestion, fever, dry cough, muscle aches, vomiting, loss of taste, smell or appetite should immediately contact the Public Health Unit at 468-4936, 468-2274, 468-2285 or the Medical Hotline 852-7650 for any necessary advice.

The community is encouraged to do their part to help prevent the spread of COVID-19 by adhering to the established public health protocols.
