The OECS is seeking potential candidates for the role of Project Manager for the OECS Skills and Innovation Project.

Under the leadership of the Programme Director of Education the Project Manager will apply their technical expertise to plan, implement, control and complete projects, identify project risks, while remaining aligned with project objectives. The Project Manager plays a critical role in driving international development projects, driving out complexity and ensuring that projects are delivered to the highest standards.

The Project Manager is also responsible for Establishing working relations with appropriate national and regional agencies and groups in participating countries to ensure effective implementation of project activities under his/her responsibility at the national and regional level.

  • A post-graduate degree (Masters level or higher) in Project Management.
  • A graduate certificate or higher in TVET, Higher Education, Digital Education,

or other related fields.

  • Thorough understanding of the issues, trends, and advances in education across

Member States and the Eastern Caribbean.

  • At least seven (7) years’ experience in project management and reporting.
  • Proven capacity to work with and establish working relationships with medium

to high-level government and non-government representatives.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team.
  • Ability to take initiative and to work with minimum supervision.
  • Experience with multi-country and multi-donor projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of programmes (including Microsoft Project, MS

Excel, Word) and database programs.
