The three day "Get Mathivated" Midterm Camp, hosted by the Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports culminated with workshops and a scavenger hunt. Educators from schools across the Territory participated in the camp which is a key component of the ministry's plan to combat the decline in mathematics performance over the past few years.

The educators were engaged in workshops during the midterm camp including "Area Awareness," and "Perimeter at Play" that provided valuable opportunities for educators to collaborate and enhance their pedagogical abilities in the delivery of key aspects of mathematics. They also bonded with their peers in a friendly but competitive scavenger hunt aimed at encouraging them to be more “Mathivated”.

The Ministry of Education, Youth Affairs, and Sports remains committed to supporting training and professional development efforts as it continues to reimagine education in the Virgin Islands.
