The public is reminded of the third sitting of the first session of the Virgin Islands Youth Parliament to be held tomorrow, June 15.

The session will commence at 4:00 p.m. at the House of Assembly Chambers in Road Town.

The Youth Parliament’s Opposition Leader will move a motion to implement measures to ensure transparency in the processes for public expenditure and that officials who do not comply must be held personally accountable.

The public as well as school students are invited to attend.

The Virgin Islands Youth Parliament provides the Territory’s young people between the ages of 15 to 29 years with a unique opportunity to develop their skills and to advocate different platforms and themes that affect young people.
