The public is invited to attend the Praise and Thanksgiving Service for all members of the Government of the Virgin Islands at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park on Wednesday, March 6 at 4:00 p.m.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie said, “The service is designed to bring the Territory together to petition God for favour and to ignite our hearts so that we can collectively come together and ascend to the full potential that God has ordained for our Territory.

The 2019 general elections in the Virgin Islands were held on February 25, with the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) emerging victorious, winning eight of 13 seats.

The service will have Members of Government, Opposition and the Territory receiving prayers by Prophet Bryan Carn, Bishop Dr. David Bryan of the Church of God of Prophecy, Huntum’s Ghut; Pastor Calvin Mills of the Church of God (Holiness), Baugher’s Bay; Pastor Enrique Diaz, of the Church of God of Prophecy, Long Look.

For persons wishing to attend the service from the Sister Islands, transportation will be provided from Anegada, Jost Van Dyke and Virgin Gorda. Speedy’s departs Anegada 1:30 p.m. and Virgin Gorda at 2:45 p.m. arriving at the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park at 3:15 p.m.

New Horizon Ferry will depart Jost Van Dyke at 2:00 p.m. for West End.  Ground transportation will be provided by New Horizon Ferry Services to transport persons from West End to the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park and return to West End. 

After the ceremony, both Speedy’s and New Horizon Ferry will depart the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park at 6:30 p.m.
