The BVI Tourist Board & Film Commission and the Taxi & Livery Commission are notifying all taxi professionals who completed the COVID-19 Gold Seal Training in December 2020, that the Gold Seal Decal for their Taxi Vehicles can be collected from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV), Monday thru Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.

Taxi Professionals are required to:

1. Take the registered vehicle or vehicles to the DMV to have the Gold Seal decal put on

2. Present their Gold Seal Certificate

3. Ensure that their vehicle/vehicles have a protective barrier separating the driver’s seating from the passengers’ seating.  This should be a clear plastic or plexiglass barrier with a small square opening for collecting fares.
