It was with great sadness that this evening we learned of the tragic death of our colleague and dear friend, Junior Peters.  My family and I, all of the staff at Government House and the Governor’s Office are devastated at the news.  Junior was a well-loved member of the team.  Junior was a dedicated public officer, who did an amazing job making the gardens at Government House beautiful and ensuring that all guests at functions and events felt welcome.   He was simply a wonderful man.  Junior was kind and caring, a friend to everyone he met and left anyone he spoke to with a smile on their face.  Our deepest condolences and prayers go to Junior’s family and his many friends.  Everyone who knew Junior has lost a very special person and we will all miss him.
