14 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS FOUND ON VIRGIN GORDA

Fourteen illegal migrants have today been handed over to the Department of Immigration by the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force for processing, detention and repatriation. These migrants are Haitian, British, Romanian, Cameroonian, Ecuadorian and French nationals, and are currently undergoing intake processes by the Department of Immigration’s Enforcement Unit.

Intelligence indicates that there are more nationals at large on Virgin Gorda. The Deputy Chief Immigration Officer asks that persons within the community make contact with the Department of Immigration at 468-4705, 468-4754 or the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force Virgin Gorda Station at 284-368-5690.
