The Social Development Department hosted a Fashion Show and Hat Parade under the theme “A ‘Senior’ Spring Affair” on Sunday March 29, 2015 at the J R O’Neal Botanic Gardens.  The event saw fashion of yester-year such as the “pantalet”, disco attire from the 60’s, mini dresses and bell bottom pants.  The Territory’s seniors showcased the latest in church wear, formal and semi-formal wear to a crowd of over 100 onlookers.  The Senior Spring Affair featured many segments which included a parade of hats.  The hats ranged from locally made straw hats to the more elegant hats well suited for afternoon tea with the Queen.
