The public is advised of the following special dates for the Ministry of Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture and public schools.

  • All public schools will reopen on Monday, September 6 for all day face-to-face learning except the Elmore Stoutt High School which will utilise a shift system.
  • UNESCO International Literacy Day on Wednesday, September 8
  • UNESCO International Day of Peace on Tuesday, September 21
  • Secondary School Basketball League begins on Monday, September 27
