Seniors in the Virgin Islands are featured during a hike at the Pineapple Fields Adventures in Brewer’s Bay, as the Territory observes Senior Citizen’s Month. The seniors were treated to informative lessons on the history of the area, the different plants, along with their benefits and use as well as a history on pineapples in the Virgin Islands. The event was organised by the Social Development Department in partnership with Hike VI. This year’s Senior Citizen’s Month is being observed under the theme ‘Aging Unbound’.
