The Social Development Department is inviting the public to support its upcoming activities in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of Seniors’ Month. The activities will be held under the theme, ‘Connect, Create, Contribute’ and are as follows:

May 1, Church Service and Declaration at the Sea Cow’s Bay Methodist Church at 10:00 a.m.

May 8, Senior Programme Open House at the East End/Long Look Community Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 12, Mr. and Ms. Senior BVI at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College at 5:00 p.m.

May 15, Carrot Bay Senior Programme Open House at the Carrot Bay Seventh-day Youth Centre from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 19, The Not So Newlywed Game at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College at 5:00 p.m.

May 21, Sea Cow’s Bay Senior Programme Open House at the Ralph Perri-Gore Centre for Mission and Ministry located at the St. Paul’s Anglican Church from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 24, Open House at the Adina Donovan Home from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

May 29, Seniors’ Ball at the Marina Inn at 6:00 p.m. The dress code is formal.

May 31, Food & Cultural Fair at the Noel Lloyd Positive Action Movement Park from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
