The public is notified that the scheduled road closures on Tuesday, August 23 and Thursday, August 25 from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. to facilitate the transportation of the new Wartsila generators, has been postponed until further notice.

The trailer used for transporting the new Wartsila generators from Port Purcell to the British Virgin Islands Electricity Corporation (BVIEC) Pockwood Pond Power Station is down and will be undergoing repairs.

The Ministry of Communications and Works and the BVIEC thanks the public for their patience.
