The public is advised of a road closure tonight, between the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School to Manuel Reef in Sea Cows Bay from 9:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., for sub-base preparation.

The road will also be fully closed for road paving from Friday, October 28 at 10:00 a.m. to Monday, October 31 at 9:00 a.m.

During the weekend closure, motorists driving to and from the western end of Tortola are advised to take alternate routes over the hill as there will be no ‘through’ traffic in the area. The recommended alternate route is the Paul P. Wattley Road into Georges Hallow near Ebenezer Thomas Primary School.

Motorists should drive with extreme caution in the area and follow all road signs.
