The public is informed that a section of the Purcell Road, between the tamarind tree near the Purcell Estate entrance to Brewley’s Superette, will be completely closed to vehicular traffic on Thursday, July 6 and Friday, July 7 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The purpose of the closure is to facilitate works to clean the ghut. Motorists are asked to use alternate roads to access Johnsons Ghut and Purcell Estate and to drive with extreme caution in the area. Provision will be made to allow residents and businesses walking access on the section of road that will be closed.
