Public & Private School Teachers were pleasantly surprised today by the sweet gesture from Minister for Education, Youth Affairs and Sports Honourable Sharie de Castro, as the Virgin Islands joined the rest of the world in celebration of World Teachers’ Day.

Honourable de Castro presented teachers with some baked goods such as cupcakes, brownies, cookies, cinnamon rolls, along with an original sweetest poem captioned below:

“Teachers, I’m just rolling by to say thank you! No matter how the cookie crumbles, you are the best! You take the cake! You deserve brownie points for all you do! It’s been a treat having you as a teacher!”
