The Town and Country Planning Department is inviting the public to a community meeting to discuss matters regarding the development of the Josiah’s Bay area. The purpose of the meeting is to advise that a plan is underway, encourage citizen participation and solicit issues that should be addressed early in the planning.

The community meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 5 at the East End/Long Look Community Centre at 6:30 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend, as successful implementation of the new approaches to physical development planning depends on the involvement of all the key stakeholders from the beginning of the process. The meeting will also present the opportunity for the community to interact with the Town and Country Planning Department and the Planning Authority.
