The Ministry of Communication and Works advises the public of a temporary road closure on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.

The affected portion of Main Street will be from the Road Town Bandstand to Sir Olva George’s Plaza to facilitate the 75th Anniversary of the Great March of 1949.

Traffic will be redirected through Shoreway Drive and surrounding areas during this time. All obstacles will be cleared, and the road will reopen by 9:00 p.m.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to exercise caution and follow the signage coordinated by the Premier’s Office, Public Works Department, and Royal Virgin Islands Police Force.
