Premier and Minister of Finance, Dr. the Honourable D. Orlando Smith, OBE will give the public a synopsis of the work of the Government of the Virgin Islands from November 2011 to present when he delivers an Address to the Territory on Monday, May 4.

The Honourable Premier’s address to the Territory will be aired at 7:30 p.m. on all radio stations. It will also be broadcast on CBN Channel 51, JTV Channel 55 and HLSCC Channel 52. In addition, the public will be able to watch it on demand on YouTube @BVIGovernment.

An excerpt from the Honourable Premier’s speech: “As you know, my primary objective was to grow the economy and we have done just that. It takes a strong economy to provide us with the revenue to run the Territory. It also takes a strong economy to do the infrastructural works, pay for the social services and maintain a cadre of well-trained civil servants to deliver those services.”

The public is invited to tune-in to the Address to the Territory as it is aired on local radio and television stations on Monday, May 4.
