The public is notified that a power outage at the Seven Seas and Bar Bay water production plants occurred last night and has resulted in a major interruption of the water service to the several areas including:

Sabbath Hill, Hope Estate, Spring Ghut, Nottingham Estate, Jennings Hill, Long Look, Lambert Estate, Balsam Ghut, Sheppard Hill, East, End, Greenland, Vanterpool Estate, Beef Island, Fort Hill, Baughers Bay, Fish Bay, Kingston, Brandywine, Paraquita Bay, Free Bottom, Purcell Estate, Pasea Estate, Horsepath, Huntums Ghut, Long Bush, Road Town, Slaney, Duffs Bottom, Sea Cows Bay, Pockwood Pond, Belle Vue, Long Trench, Fahie Hill, Diamond Estate, Harrigan Estate, Meyers, McNamara, Brewers Bay, and Cane Garden Bay.

The BVI Electricity Corporation is currently working to restore power and a further update will be provided on the restoration of the water supply to the affected areas. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.
