Officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) completed a two-day Emergency Management orientation conducted by the Department of Disaster Management (DDM) on Tuesday, April 5 and Wednesday, April 6.

The training was implemented as part of the RVIPF and DDM’s Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed in August 2014 and is also in keeping with the National Disaster Management Plan update process to work together to ensure that all members of the Force can effectively undertake their assigned roles as part of the Territory’s disaster management programme.
