Permanent Secretaries across the Public Service have received training in the use of the Service Commissions Portal facilitated by Human Resources Manager Colleen Hazel. The training covered various features of the portal that are used by all four commissions to manage Human Resources matters. Access to the portal is given to Ministerial Human Resources Managers, Permanent Secretaries and the Financial Secretary.

The Department of Human Resources is actively working with the Department of Information Technology to support more efficient handling of Human Resource matters in line with the Public Service Transformation plan. This includes a new system to manage recruitment, which is currently in the final stages of testing.
