The public is advised that the north shore beaches are red flagged and closed from Tuesday, January 10 until further notice due to ground swell activity.

There is also a chance of structural damage to buildings and docks along the shore line, and persons are asked to avoid these areas in the interest of safety as the waves increase in size later in the week.
