The RDA now invites tenders from eligible and qualified Tenderers for the removal, processing and disposal of derelict boats which were left stranded along the coastlines and bays of the British Virgin Islands following the passing of hurricanes Irma and Maria in 2017.
This tender is split into nine (9) Work Packages based on geographic area of the vessels to be removed:
Work Package 1: Beef Island |
Work Package 2: Sea Cows Bay |
Work Package 3: East End |
Work Package 4: Paraquita Bay |
Work Package 5: Road Town |
Work Package 6: West End |
Work Package 7: Outliers |
Work Package 8: Staging and Processing |
Work Package 9: Disposal |
N.B. Contractors may bid on a single, multiple or all the Work Packages.
This Procurement will be conducted through the RDA’s International Competitive Bidding (ICB) procedures.

Initial Bidders Conference will be held at the RDA, 3rd Floor Ritter House, Wickham’s Cay II, Tortola, BVI on Friday 3rd May 2019.at 10:00 a.m. Participation by video conference will be arranged for Tenderers outside of the BVI.
Final Bidder’s Conference and Site Visit will be held at the Staging Site, Pockwood Pond, Tortola, British Virgin Islands on Friday 17 May 2019 at 10:00AM
