Press Conference– Thursday, October 10-

Director General of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) His Excellency Dr. Didacus Jules, at the press conference on Thursday, October 12 said:

“In the OECS there are a number of medical schools. Some of them are schools of distinction such as Ross University and St. George’s University in Grenada. In fact, we had some initial discussion, in a previous meeting, with St. George’s University to expand their scholarship programme. We have a scholarship programme with Morocco, and I would say about 70% of the students across the OECS who are studying in Morocco are doing medicine or medical related studies. So, every opportunity we get, we try to upskill. But the key things there is to ensure that we retain those skills.”
