The public is being informed that the George’s Hollow road (Bound Tree) leading from the Ebenezer Thomas Primary School will be closed for approximately three weeks.

The purpose of the road closure is to facilitate cable trenching for BVI Electricity Corporation’s transmission cables associated with the Phase V Power Development Programme.

Residents in areas beyond the school are asked to proceed with caution and to adhere to all safety signs and follow the instructions of road officers in the affected area, while works are in progress.

The Government of the Virgin Islands thanks the public for their patience as it continues to enhance the electricity capacity in the Territory.
