Permanent Under-Secretary (PUS) and the most senior Public Servant in the Foreign & Commonwealth Office Sir Simon McDonald will visit the British Virgin Islands as part of a brief tour of the region from Thursday, February 15 to Saturday, February 17. 

During his visit, Sir Simon is scheduled to meet the Governor, Premier and Cabinet Ministers and a cross-section of public servants and business leaders.  

He will have the opportunity to see the Territory’s progress and challenges in rebuilding since the hurricanes of last year, and be updated on the Territory’s recovery plans.

This is Sir Simon’s first visit to the British Virgin Islands.
