The Environmental Health Division is reminding all food business proprietors that according to Part IX, Section 28 of the Public Health Food Hygiene Regulation, all food businesses must register with the Environmental Health Division to be inspected and licensed.

The health license is valid for one year from the date of issuance and must be displayed in a conspicuous location within the food establishment at all times. If the license is removed, damaged, hidden, obscured, or allowed to become illegible, the proprietor will be in violation of the regulations.

Food businesses are asked to pick up their 2024 license at the Division and display them in accordance with the Regulations. For additional information, contact the Division at 468-5110.
