Release Date:
Monday, 18 December 2017 - 2:56pm

The public is informed that fogging will continue in Round Hill, Luck Hill, New Bush, Harrigan, Chalwell, Treadfall, Doty and Shannon Estates tomorrow December 19 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Residents are urged to leave windows and doors opened. Persons with respiratory illnesses, particularly asthma, should leave the areas being fogged for at least an hour.

Residents are reminded that fogging provides only temporary relief from mosquitoes. House hold members and property owners must therefore be vigilant in preventing mosquitoes from breeding in stagnant water around their homes and businesses by carrying out weekly inspections.

For further information on how to control the Aedes aegypti mosquito, telephone the Vector Control Unit of the Environmental Health Division at 852-7782
