The Recovery and Development Agency (RDA) wishes to inform the public that the deadline for the submission of bids for the construction of the new West End Ferry Terminal and Temporary Facility Project has been extended until 17^th January, 2025.

This extension has been granted to provide the shortlisted bidders with additional time to properly review the detailed specifications in order to submit comprehensive proposals in accordance with the project requirements.

The shortlisted bidders have been informed and are reminded to adhere to the guidelines and criteria outlined in the Invitation to Bid and supporting documents.  Submissions received after the new deadline will not be considered.

The Caribbean Development Bank, the funding source for the West End Ferry Terminal project, provided the ‘No Objection’ for the project in July 2024, following which the tender package was issued to prequalified contractors. The full tender package includes the temporary facility, as agreed with the BVI Ports Authority and the Ministry of Communications and Works. Bid submissions for the West End Ferry Terminal Project were initially due on 25^th October 2024.
