The public is notified that a Shorts 360 aircraft crash landed at the T.B. Lettsome International Airport at approximately 9:35 a.m. today, November 18.

The aircraft which is said to have hazardous goods onboard; crash-landed with two souls and parked in the vicinity of Taxiway Echo.

The BVI Airports Authority has reported that both souls were evacuated and the Terminal Building was also evacuated as a result of the hazardous goods found aboard the aircraft.

Residents are kindly asked to refrain from visiting the area and further information will be forthcoming during the course of the day.
