The BVI Health Services Authority (BVIHSA) received a donation of blankets and art supplies from the Rotaract Club of Tortola.

Rotaractor Christina Cheraymond said that the Rotaract Club of Tortola is grateful for the opportunity to donate to the obstetrics ward and the children in pediatrics.

Director of Hospital Services, Mrs. Cedorene Malone-Smith said she is glad that the BVIHSA is a part of the circle of giving saying, “The babies and the moms will appreciate the blankets and art supplies will come in handy for the kids who are being taken care of in pediatrics.”

Health Minister Ronnie W. Skelton thanked the group of young people for their continued support adding that every little bit helps in delivering enhanced health care services to the people of the Virgin Islands. The donation took place on April 28.

The Ministry of Health and Social Development aspires to provide a caring and integrated system of health and social services that facilitates human development and improves the quality of life in the Virgin Islands.
