The Government of the Virgin Islands, in conjunction with the Organisation of the Eastern Caribbean State (OECS) are currently hosting the Environmental Sustainability Exhibition; From Tuesday, July 2nd to Thursday, July 4th.

Members of the community visited the exhibit and experienced the virtual reality (VR) goggles for an adventure beneath the sea and through the coral reefs as well as; various displays from the commission, the ministry and other partner agencies, including the National Parks Trust of the Virgin Islands, Beyond the Reef and Green VI. The displays include informational spreads, educational posters and banners, on climate resilience, environmental management, and biodiversity and ecosystems management.

The exhibition is part of the Eleventh OECS Council of Ministers: Environmental Sustainability (COM:ES 11), which was postponed due to Hurricane Beryl’s impact on some of the participating OECS member states.
