Opening Ceremony – Monday, 9^th October

Dr. Arliene T. Penn, Cancer Awareness Advocate and Keynote Speaker at the Opening Ceremony of the 36^th States OECS/ PPS Policy Board Meeting and 9^th OECS Council of Ministers: Health said:

“After educating myself on the facts and the impact of cervical cancer on me, women like me, right here in the Virgin Islands and in the region, the Caribbean region, and the global community; I have been empowered with the passion to share my cervical cancer experience, which has become unrelenting, until we achieve the focus, theme, and goal of prevention as a strategy to decrease all chronic and non-communicable diseases.”
