Deputy Premier and Minister for Natural Resources and Labour, Dr. the Honourable Kedrick Pickering led a delegation to Jost Van Dyke last week to discuss ways the team could continue to collaborate in preserving the island’s natural environment and further strengthen the tourism product.   

The delegation included Member for the House of Assembly and Representative for the Second District Honourable Melvin Turnbull, Director for BVI Tourist Board Mrs. Sharon Flax-Mars, Sister Island Tourism Officer Mr. Arvan Hodge and Marine Biologist from the Department of Conservation and Fisheries Ms. Argel Horton.

The visit is part of Government’s ongoing strategy to place the sister islands at the centre of the Territory’s development.
