Today, Thursday, October 12, the Government of the Virgin Islands entered into two contracts for the Waste Water Treatment Plant at Paraquita Bay. The first contract signed is for Management and Operation of the Waste Water Treatment Plant and the second is for the Repair and Commission of Wastewater Plant and Design and Construction of Sludge Treatment Facility.

Featured are the Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Dr. Natalio D. Wheatley and Minister for Communications and Works Honourable Kye M. Rymer signed on behalf of the Government and Mr. Raj Kumar Kushwaha on behalf of Caribbean Central & South American Region Toshiba Water Solutions America Inc. Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Communications and Works Mrs. Elvia Smith-Maduro chaired the contract signing ceremony.
