The BVI Airports Authority Limited in consultation with the Premier, Honourable Andrew A. Fahie and its Board of Directors chaired by Mr. Bevis Sylvester has decided to close its two (2) outer Airports, namely Auguste George Airport, Anegada and Taddy Bay Airport, Virgin Gorda to international flights effective today, Friday 13th March 2020 for thirty (30) days in the first instance. 

The decision to close both Airports was taken as a precautionary measure after much consideration of the evolving situation surrounding the Corona Virus “COVID-19”.

All passengers travelling by air to and from the British Virgin Islands will be processed through the Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport, Beef Island where considerable steps have been taken to address the situation.

The BVI Airports Authority thank you the travelling public for your continued indulgence, as it endeavours to keep you informed as the situation unfolds, whilst maintaining Safety as its No. 1 Priority.
