The Ministry of Communications and Works has commenced comprehensive road works in Sea Cows Bay as part of an ongoing infrastructural development program.

Director of the Public Works Department, Mr. Jeremy Hodge said the project is aimed at improving the Territory’s Road network and includes road rehabilitation and resurfacing.

Mr. Hodge said, “Additional works may involve drainage improvements where necessary. The road works are set to begin on Wednesday, September 4 and will continue during daytime hours, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the vicinity of Ebenezer Thomas Primary School to The Boys Gas Station. The completion of these works will significantly improve the quality of life for residents and enhance the overall infrastructure of the area.”

The public is urged to exercise caution and follow all signage during this period.  Works are expected to be completed by Saturday, September 7.
