On Friday, May 22, several Anegadians received contracts to execute road improvement works on their home island. Works will begin from the Saltheap Point at the Beach Cottages to Cow Wreck Beach Bar & Grill and will be supervised by five project managers from Anegada.

Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Communications and Works, Mr. Anthony McMaster met with contractors and project managers on the sister island to discuss and sign contracts for the 4,800 foot road project.

Mr. McMaster said, "Each contractor will be given 240 feet of road and will be responsible for executing works under the contract." He added "The Public Works Department will be providing concrete and the sub-base material to all contractors for road works.”

The Ministry of Communications and Works is moving forward with developing Anegada and strengthening its economy.
