Acting Governor, His Excellency Mr. David D. Archer, Jr. is featured as he visited staff of the Incinerator Plant in Pockwood Pond.

The Acting Governor thanked the staff for their continued dedication and their unwavering commitment in spite of the fact that their work is in no way glamourous, and the importance of their role is often overlooked and underappreciated. He applauded the Department of Waste Management’s commitment to delivering effective and efficient waste management programmes that are critical to building a sustainable and livable Territory. 

The visit was a part of initiatives to recognise and commend persons in the Public Service and community for significant contributions to the Virgin Islands.
