The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries’ Abattoir will be closed to the public effective immediately due to the new curfew order.

Persons who currently have meat at the abattoir are urged to collect their meat no later than 2:00 p.m. today, Wednesday, August 26.

The department will not be held responsible for any carcass left over the period of the lockdown.

The abattoir will be closed until further notice.
