The Ministry of Education and Culture is advising parents, guardians and students of the following dates for the 2016 to 2017 school year.

New and transfer students should report to schools on August 31. Returning students, including Grades 7 to 9 are to report to schools on September 1 from 9:00 a.m. to noon, while Grades 10 to 12 report on September 2 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Grade 12 Orientation will take place at the H. L. Stoutt Community College campus on September 1 at 5:00 p.m.

Classes begin on September 5 for all public schools.
