Season’s Greeting to everyone in the Territory, particularly my people of the sixth district.

God is with us, and I thank Him for being that guiding light and tower of strength as we go through life from day-to-day.

God has shown me over and over again this year that He is worthy to be praised and embraced; and I know you feel the same way, as well.

As a representative of the people, I continue to faithfully work on your behalf and I will carry on in this vein because helping people to achieve their goals is my passion.  I am committed to putting service above self.

I thank all of you for your kind words of encouragement and candid and frank discussions. Together, we were able to bridge gaps, ensure transformational change and strengthen our communities. We still have a lot more to do, and I am depending on you to work with me so that we can make it happen together.

I thank my colleagues and their ministries for the assistance given in different ways to meet the needs of my people. We were able to make changes to improve the lives of many, and I already have their commitment to do even more next year. I look forward to that collaborative experience.

I also thank my family for being there and keeping me afloat so that I could do the work of the people in a meaningful way. Their understanding and patience while I continue to serve is unwavering.

This season is one of reflection.

It is a time where we reflect and smile at the challenges that have now turned into opportunities.

It is a time when we remember the good times and hope for more exceptional ones.

It is a time when we remember the legacies of those who have passed and the fond memories of once being in their company.

And, more importantly, in fact, the most important of all, we remember the Christmas story and the birth of Christ the King and how God sent his only son so that we could have everlasting life, if we only believe in him, and continue to be energised for him.

Let us always remember to give thanks. Say a kind word to someone passing. Persevere in whatever you are doing. Do not settle for where you are, aim for your dream and be thankful as you get closer and closer to your destiny.

Remember the importance of prayer. Pray to God for guidance, and be confident that he will listen. Please allow Him to lead you.

As we go into the New Year, let us go forward trusting is a bright tomorrow. It will be what we make it. I look forward to ‘service above self’ next year and beyond.

Thank you and do enjoy today and the days ahead.

Season’s Greeting and Happy New Year.
