Residents including boat owners, fishermen, and farmers are asked to put precautionary measures in place to protect and secure property due to the possible threat hurricane Irma now poses to the Virgin Islands.

The public is asked to note that services have resumed at the Magistrate’s Court in John’s Hole and also at Student Services and the UNESCO Offices located in the Ward Building.
Visitors to the Virgin Islands are being reminded that effective September 1, an Environmental and Tourism levy of $10.00 will be collected on arrival at all ports of entry.
All registered licenced electricians, contractors, home and business owners are reminded that an electrical inspection has to be carried out on residential or commercial premises that have been disconnected for six months and over. This inspection has to be completed before reconnection of electricity to the premises.
The Office of the Supervisor of Elections is notifying eligible persons that the deadline to register to vote is September 4, for inclusion on the 2017 Official Voters List.
