The public can now access guidance on several topics in response to COVID-19. 

The Department of Labour and Workforce Development is reminding employers of Sections 53 and 54 of the British Virgin Islands Labour Code, in relation to payment to employees on public holidays.

Delta and Sol gas stations on Tortola and Virgin Gorda have agreed to limited operating hours during the lockdown period to allow essential workers to refuel their vehicles.

Customers of the Water and Sewerage Department on the eastern end of Tortola from Paraquita Bay to Beef Island, including Long Look, Little Dix Hill, Josiah’s Bay, Lambert and Shepard’s Hill, are advised that public water service will be temporarily interrupted on Tuesday, April 7 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
